A LYTTLE ABOUT ME
Mariah is a multi-hyphenate artist, currently based in New York. Her humble beginnings range from singing in her church choir to performing in her living room for her family. Now you can find her performing on broadway stages, at underground music venues, and on all music streaming platforms.
As a creative, Mariah hopes to inspire all who will listen. Mariah aims to break glass ceilings, challenge narratives, and contribute her artistry to a line of work that is ever-evolving. She believes that it is never too late to find your voice and use it to promote and embrace change.
Mariah prides herself on a fusion of genres, such as pop, gospel, soul, R&B, and a hint of jazz, as it provides her a handful of opportunities to crossover to different modes of performance. She currently performs as a swing and the Dorothy Standby on the pre-Broadway national tour of The Wiz, slated to make its historic return to New York in the spring of 2024. Mariah looks forward to being back in the Big Apple to continue exploring different avenues of her artistry, including the forthcoming release of her debut EP.
